Since 2007 Susan has been a regular visiting lecturer, at London College of Communications, London on the MA and BA Photojournalism courses. The role involves reviewing final year projects, advising on industry practice, and conducting workshops on photo editing and the storytelling process.

 

In 2009 Susan was a staff lecturer and third year tutor at University College Falmouth on the BA Press and Editorial Photography degree course conducting weekly tutorials, group critiques, lectures and was a team member in the degree assessment process. She also organised fundraising and a promotional campaign with the undergraduates for the graduate show and oversaw their pastoral care. In additon Susan organised all aspects of the annual two day seminar on the theme of "The Future of Photography".
